Is the Kontera In-Text relevance engine better than Google AdSense?
Acting as user, I’d say yes. It attracts my attention more than AdSense. The point is that in the latter case, your eyes must move to see the ad, leaving the text/article you’re reading. With Kontera instead, you keep reading and your attention is attracted by the double-underlined word. The result ? My blog readers agree with me:
Google AdSense CTR (Click Through Rate): 0,99%
Kontera In-Text relevance CTR: 3.03%
Any suggestion to maximize the AdSense efficiency ? I think that the Google Ads are well positioned on my blog. I was looking for methods to insert advertising into the RSS, but Feedburner still doesn’t allow it. Let’s see if something changes in the following months.
