Fall VON, day 2 - Jeff’s keynote

Again, Alec offers a great report about Jeff Pulver’s keynote.

As supposed, Jeff has more and more pictured video over IP as the new and greatest disrupting technology. So he did in Stockholm during VON Europe, but it seems that now, keeping in mind what is really making noise in this field (YouTube, Google Video, Rocketboom, etc.), he pointed out that video is the new disrupting technology in every related field:

Jeff’s point: you don’t need a studio, you don’t need producers. You can do video yourself.

Great conclusion by Alec:

Vintage Pulver. A mix of vision, a few windmills to be tilted at, and a few preconceived notions poked hard.
