Tom Keating broke this interesting news about Sony and BT. It seems that finally VoIP comes to the Sony PlayStation Portable. I had written about a possible video client for that device a few times a few months ago. Now something is moving to that direction with a real service available and distributed from a Telecom operator.
In this video BT’s Steve Andrews demonstrated the PSP webcam.
This new service, offered by British Telecom as a part of the 21st Century Networks’s services, will be available in UK only. According to British Telecom, this new software will be distributed to Telecom Operators of over 100 countries worldwide.
