As I anticipated a few days ago, with the new blog I would like to introduce a few new weekly columns. The first one is “Friday’s Quotes” where I summarize five cool, interesting, wise and, why not, funny quotes taken from the blogosphere. You can read the first episode from this link.
The second weekly column that I would like to introduce now is “Free Calls Time“. It will be a weekly review of services that let you make free phone calls worldwide thanks to VoIP.
I’ve decided to introduce this column after having received a lot of comments on my post “MORE, not FREE: open letter to VoIP players“. Many people pointed out that my point of view, as user and VoIP professional, was acceptable and made sense, but, as user, it was only my point of view. There are a lot of people out there that need to make a lot of international phone calls to their family and mostly in countries outside EU and US. So, since there are some services to make calls for free, they would be more than happy to use them.
All this said, I would like to share my knowledge in this field offering a weekly update on services that let people make free calls. Hope this will be helpful.
