Om Malik reports today that Google has acquired Zenter, a startup specialized in online presentations. This means that we are going to see a “powerpoint”-like web app integrated in their Google Docs & Spreadsheets suite pretty soon.
According to Google blog, that’s exactly what they are going to do. As soon as it is ready, the online office suite by Google will be completed. The main question is: how many people are going to leave their faithful MS Office to switch to a web based suite? What about compatibility?
I recommend to stay tuned, because it’s clear that this field is becoming really hot.
