That fateful day, June 29th, is approaching quickly so the blogosphere is populated by a lot of interesting news about the upcoming Apple iPhone. Here are some news that caught my attention this week.
Apple and Nintendo
Can iPhone become a new portable game console? Apple and Nintendo signed an agreement in order to bring some games from Nintendo to the Appe iPhone. Those games should be available a few months after iPhone official launch and users can buy them from iTunes at $29,99.
Six iPhone Questions for Apple/AT&T
Is iPhone for you? Matthew Miller from ZDNet says that he would buy it only after Apple and/or AT&T respond to his 6 questions.
AT&T hires 2000 new employees for iPhone’s launch
AT&T is reinforcing their retail stores sales team in order to sustain the big expected crowds on June 29th. In addition, they defined some rules that employees must apply strictly.
iPhone Displays at Apple stores
Big iPhone displays appeared on Apple Stores and AT&T stores yesterday. Apple marketing is always at the top.
BlackBerry client for iPhone?
Guys at BlackBerry Cool wonder if RIM should start selling a push-email client for the iPhone. It would be good for a particular subset of users, but not for RIM that makes most of their revenues thanks to hardware sales. Yes, but for something like $29.99 I would surely buy their client for the iPhone…and RIM wouldn’t certainly lose money ![]()
