My Wordpress blog is up and running, but I can say the transition has been more painful that what I thought.
The big problem is related to permalinks. Importing from bloggers means that many permalinks, even if in the same format, are not imported correctly. For instance, Blogger cuts “The” from any title while Wordpress doesn’t. Unfortunately this useful tip is not working with WP 2.2.
What I’m trying to do now? Looking for all my popular and most linked posts and verifying if permalinks are working correctly.
