Plaxo 3.0 for Mac sucks

Plaxo 3.0 for Mac sucks

I had the brilliant idea to install the new version of Plaxo 3.0 for Mac. The previous worked great, but this one definitely not.

I had to uninstall it immediately since it is the first application (more than one time) to freeze my Mac and force me to reboot (through the power button).

Any way to get back to the previous version ?

UPDATE: yesterday I got realtime support by Drew, Plaxo for Mac lead developer. Everything is working great now. It seems there is a bug while trying to sync my iCal calendars. Thank you for the prompt and efficient support!

  • Luca Filigheddu
Natali, go to advanced options and disable iCal sync. For me that was the problem.
  • Hey Luca, I'm a product manager at Plaxo and I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. I'd like to see if we can see what's going on with your system. Can you drop me an e-mail with what version of OS X you are running, and also about how many entries do you have in your address book/calendar?

Also please let me know which e-mail address you used for your Plaxo account.

    Thanks,

  • Me too! It crashed my iCal many, many, many times. What a buggy piece of crap!
