Here is a list of things I don’t like in the new Ecto 3 Alpha, the blog editor for MacOSX. Since it is an Alpha version, I hope these things will be sort out in the following versions.
1) Tags and Categories are shown together: I would like to clearly indentify categories and tags, I don’t want to have them mixed together since I use both
2) Find as you type: in the version 2, you could write the name of a category or tag and it was showed and selected (if found) or it was added as new (if not found). It seems that this feature has been removed and replaced with a search box. I think that the previous behavior was far better.
3) Templates: I can’t find how to customize the template for tags. In version 2 I could customize it and I could add the Technorati icon near the tags. I’m not able to to this now with version 3.
