Following up to Alec Saunders’ comments on Jaxtr funding where he refers to my company’s Sitòfono and in order to answer a few questions I got from some readers, I would like to point out how Sitòfono differs to Jaxtr in terms of business model and approach:
1) Sitòfono is targeted to businesses only
2) Sitòfono is a marketing tool
3) If you want Sitòfono, you have to pay, since it brings value to your business
Basically, the main difference is that instead of spending money giving away free minutes, we are making money thank to our REAL customers.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Jaxtr and I wish them all the best but, on our side, we prefer to make money with a “traditional” business model where customer pays you for a valuable service you give them.
That’s all.
