A true business solution should include the following -
A standard based (SIP) system
A disaster recovery plan (easy to implement with a IP / SIP system)
A Secondary supplier in the case of a business failure of the first (the same as you would do with any business supplier)
How can you ever find a secondary supplier if you use Skype’s proprietary solution? It doesn’t work. Skype is great for consumers, they solved a problem and it works well, but it won’t ever be reliable for a business implementation.
