As usual, my company’s video micro-blogging platform Hictu gets its periodic update. Today, aside from some minor improvements, the ability to send private messages has been introduced.

This means that you can now send private messages to any Hictu user.

I wanted to offer a quick summary of all the features now available on Hictu, for those who have not been watching Hictu since its launch. Hictu is a video-micro-blogging service/platform which offers:

Real-time Web interaction with Ajax
Video messages (captured from the browser with a webcam)
Audio and text messages
Comments
Tags
Ratings
RSS Feeds
Private messages and direct emails
Public/Private profile
Privacy settings
Presence information
Content filtering
Shareable/embeddable contents?
Widget
Badge/button for your Web pages
VoIP
Mobile version

Among similar services, Hictu is the fastest growing (according to Mashable) in terms of features for the final user and the one which offers unique services.

I’m really proud of it.
