Yak4ever is not 4ever

Yak4Ever, the free calling service by Pat Phelan (I talked about it already a few months ago when they launched) unfortunately had to give up. Pat Phelan informs that they decided to shut down the service.

The cause? The FCC has not been capable of making big carriers pay. More details from Pat’s blog.

My take? A shame. Big carriers always win and we have to deal with it, in spite of rules and laws.
