My friend Pat Phelan is definitely working hard these days. Latest news is about the partnership between MaxRoam and CelTrek, in order to join forces and create a global mobile operators without any geographic boundary.

The partnership will allow both companies to offer extended geographic coverage and data roaming on their existing products. This is a substantial step forward for both companies in their goal to provide a single global communication platform that brings an end to the monopolistic behavior of the large cellular operators.

Good news. I’ve been trying MaxRoam for a while now and I can definitely say it works really well. Here in the US, the quality is superb even in “inthemiddleof nowhere” places.
