WiFiMobile and their OneFone mobile VoIP client is a service I already covered in this blog months ago thanks to this Q&A with John O’Prey.

What I like is the ability to use their mobile application, Onefone, without changing your habits. You just dial the number you want to call, and Onefone, in background, takes care of the rest.
Now they announced two major news: the first one is that the monthly fee they were charging is not available anymore, but a prepaid model has been introduced; secondly, more dial-in numbers are available and those can be called from any phone number users register on their account. More details at this page.

The trick is that you can even use other services that are offering calls to some of the above numbers for free, in order to save more money.
Now it’s only up to you, Truphone, Mobivox and Wifimobile, among the others, are very good choices if you need to save money when you are on the go with additional services that make them worthy for any business traveller as well as for any long distance call.
