One of the aspects of Silicon Valley that I like more is the huge number of social networking events that you can attend. Free food, free drinks and a lot of people to meet and to talk to. I’m running out of business cards!

Yesterday I attended a “Lunch 2.0” event hosted by the web-based IM service Meebo. I met a lot of people there and some meetings led to schedule follow-ups in the following days. Business opportunities, partnership opportunities, who knows, the point is that the center of the Internet is here and I want to try to get the most from my trip.

California

A lot of meetings next week and more to come. Stay tuned.
