VoIP without noise?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A couple of days ago I got an email from the guys at SoliCall, a company which just launched a new technology called PBXMate. You can find the official press release here.

It’s basically a server, which runs on Windows and Linux, that eliminates unwanted noise from any SIP-based VoIP call. Business calls will surely benefit more than others from this new technology, even if a personal version of their software is available too.

According to Solicall’s website, Telephony Providers are obviously an important target of their product as well and, in my opinion, those who would get most benefits from it. I only have some concerns about redundancy problems, but I presume that they already put up with problems like those.

The “before & after” screenshots are pretty interesting.

I believe that new technological improvements that involve VOIP calls are always behind the corner and will be always appreciated by both final users and companies. The good is that there are many smart small companies working hard on these issues and not taking anything for granted.

I look forward to the first Telephony provider that will use Solicall’s technology. Some demos I had the opportunity to test deliver what they promise. BTW, I really like their tag line: “My Voice, Only”.
