iPhone Jailbrake 1.1.3 is out

Posted on 25 January 2008

Do you have the latest version of the iPhone? It seems you can now unlock it… again. I knew it was just matter of time, and they did it again.

It’s not clear to me if it works in case you bought a new iPhone with the 1.1.3 firmware on board already. Anyway, if you have an unlocked iPhone and you want to upgrade your firmware in order to get the latest features, this release is for you (note that you need to have a previous version of Jailbrake installed already).

Light means Slow

According to the tests performed by the guys at Engadget, it seems that the new MacBook Air is the lowest on the block. A MacBook or a MacBook Pro seem to be better choices if you want it fast.

Anyway, if you are looking for the thinnest macbook in the universe, go for the Air. I saw and touched it at the MacWorld and it’s definitely impressive. You can really put it into an envelope.

Posted on 24 January 2008

Phil Wolff at Skype Journal just posted an interesting tip to get a SIP URI for your Skype number. David Beckemeyer commented as well.

Full step by step can be found here. Not really something for the average user, but can be really useful. Check it out. I don’t use Skype unfortunately, but I’ll definitely try it out. What about the contrary?
