Share Ready for Dubai

Tomorrow I’ll be leaving to Dubai for the VOIP World ME 2008. It looks like an interesting event and a good opportunity to meet new friends from that area of the market. My presentation is on Tuesday. I’ll also be attending a panel abut Wireless VOIP, a theme I particularly take care of. I realized it takes 5 hours by plane from Rome… wow, I thought much less…

    Keep me informed on the VoLAN as this is also a very large part of my actual interest. Indeed, I do give advices to the Walloon Ministry of Equipment and Transport as well as some other companies (www.WrLS.lu) acting in the field of wireless network.

    They both do investigate the potential of putting voice onto the wireless network but as you know a call of few Kbps become rapidly some Mbps due to the 802.11x link layer overhead for small real time packets
