Italy is #3 worldwide in terms of iPhone 3G sold

We already know that Italy is far ahead in terms of maturity of the mobile market and this is another demonstration of this fact. According to Piffer Jaffray, Italy is the country #3 worldwide in terms of iPhone 3G units sold in the first three days of availability.

    Hi, do you know if TIM and/or Vodafone ship iPhones outside Italy in the EU? Like to Germany? Or is it required to visit Italy to buy a unlocked iPhone? :-) No that I would not like to visit, but the next holidays will be a while fore me… Thanks, Hendrik

    Mmm, not to my knowledge… I think you have to find someone who can buy it for you and send it out to germany.
