SmugMug, the popular professional photo sharing website, introduced SmugVault , a new service which lets users store not only photos, but many other types of files, including RAW (yessssss!), PSD and even excel and word.

The service is offered in collaboration with Amazon and costs are the following:

Storage costs 22 cents per gigabyte per month. If you upload the contents of a 2 GB memory card, you’ll be out 44 cents/month for storage.

There is a $1/month recurring charge.

Data transfer in is 30 cents per gigabyte. Data transfer out is 51 cents per gigabyte.

Monthly addition to your home electrical bill: Zero.

Finally a photo sharing file which lets you store and backup your RAW images. Another great move by my favorite service. Check it out!
