I just came across this little AIR app which simply provides you with a blackboard where you can write without distractions coming from your desktop. You can focus on your content and avoid distractions coming from email notifications, IM and so on.
Is the following screenshot enough to make you get the benefits coming from Focused?
Being an AIR app, you can use it regardless of the OS you are using, but if you are a Mac user, you are more likely to prefer using a more popular one like Writeroom, despite it’s not free ($24.95). To be honest, this latter app has more features than Focused (and it hides the dock and the app bar too), but most users can be fine with this one.
