Fifty Tech Startups You Should Know

BusinessWeek compiled a list of fifty tech startups that are likely to become big in the next couple years. Pretty interesting, I know many of them and very curious to take a look at those I haven’t paid attention yet.

My “special mention” goes to:

Evernote: love that app, definitely a must have for both iPhone and BlackBerry. They solve a problem and it is well worth its cost.

Fon: free Wifi for everyone, a company that has undergone a tremendous growth in the past three years.

Jajah: my friends at Jajah well deserve the inclusion in this list. A solid and well managed company. Good job guys!

Loopt: maps, presence, location based services at the nth degree. Ans still remember the Lunch 2.0 I had at their headquarter ;-)

Tokbox: video communication made easy. Tough market, but they are doing a great job.

Xobni: I will like them even more as soon as their app will hit my Mac. Only Windows so far, but pal Jeff Bonforte is doing a great job.

Keep up the good work guys and congrats to everyone mentioned in this list.
