I‘m happy to announce that Tweefind, the rank-based Twitter search engine, gets an update today.
Aside from taking advantage of a more refined “Tweerank” assigned by our system to any Twitter user (almost 4 millions ranked so far) , Tweefind now includes a new sidebar containing related content coming from different sources.
First of all, a top box with the highest-ranked Twitter users whose bio contains the searched keyword is made available from Tweepfind.com.
Together with this, there are two more boxes: one contains search results coming from different blogs/websites (CNN, NYT, Techcrunch, Mashable, VentureBeat, Read&WriteWeb, etc.) plus Friendfeed, while the other contains the most popular video on YouTube corresponding to the searched keyword.
Last but not least, you can get the results coming from Google Blog Search immediately by just clicking on the corresponding option, enriched with useful thumbnails.

Please let me know if you like it and if you would like to see more features not available yet.
