I think that the browser war under Mac is really exciting. A few weeks ago, Safari 4. A few days ago, Firefox 3.5. A few weeks ago Opera 10. Six to ten times a day, Chromium for Mac. Yes, because as many of you should be aware, the open source version of Chrome for Mac, Chromium, is available for download at this link and new builds are out every day.
Developers are hard at work in order to put together the best browser in town and its name is Chrome. Just a few weeks ago I made a “rough” comparison of Safari 4, Chrome and Opera 10 in terms of speed and, while Safari 4 was the winner, now the latest builds of Google Chrome for Mac are more stable, features-rich and, last but not least, even faster. These tests confirm this fact, Chrome under Mac is actually the fastest browser.
What do you think? Is speed the #1 feature that determines the best browser? My opinion? Yes, it is. Please leave your comments, I appreciate more views and opinions.
