Being currently on vacation, my BlackBerry is the only device that keeps me connected to the online world and the main apps I’m using everyday are the email client (of course), the excellent Twitter and Facebook client SocialScope and, last but not least, Viigo to read news from my Google Reader subscriptions.
I use Viigo daily so I immediately realized something was not working properly. This was the first time I used it under the latest version of the (unofficial) OS 5 and noticed that I couldn’t browse news properly, in particular I couldn’t go to the end of the articles I was currwntly reading.
That being said, I asked on Twitter whether this was a known problem and in a 5 minutes time slot a developer, the CTO/co-founder and the CEO of Viigo immediately got back to me, informing that it was a know issue and a patch would have been released soon.
This is definitely an example of excellent customer care because I now know that are working on that issue and got an immediate feedback. I’m also wondering how long it would have taken to get back to me if I had sent a generic email to them…
In conclusion, another example of wise usage of Twitter by a company that is leveraging social media in the proper way. My praises go to Viigo. Keep up with the good work guys!
