Andy Abramson wrote an interesting blog post about Aircell, the new WiFi broadband internet service provided by American Airlines.
The point is that not all the applications over internet are allowed on that service and VoIP is one of them. Andy tried SightSpeed but the call was dropped after 10 seconds only, same story with Skype. [...]

Abbeyphone, my company’s division for consumer VoIP, just came out with the new summer rates, really very cheap.
Abbeyphone is a not much advertised service, but I have to say that it works very well, from any SIP device or from the web, through call back (if needed) and it’s up and running since 2003 thanks [...]

Jeff Pulver informs on his blog that Free World Dialup, the pioneer VoIP service he launched 12 years ago, will not be free any longer. Members now have to pay a $30/year subscription fee in order to continue to use FWD’s services.
