Last year in March I wrote two posts on Flock. Basically, I stated that Flock was going to be a flop.

Dear Chris Messina, who commented to my blog post, I have to apologize. Today, while using Flock 1.0RC3 for the first time, I have to say that I really like what I see.
What I got from it:
- Flock is the first social browser ever
- Flock brings a social experience very well integrated into your internet browsing experience
- Flock is multimedia, I can quickly access to any of my multimedia catalogs on YouTube, Flickr or Facebook
- Flock lets me interact with my contacts quickly and easily
- Flock lets me use Twitter and Facebook as I never used them
- Flock lets me blog and share my photos in the fastest way I’ve ever experienced
Flock rocks guys, it really rocks and lets you do much more than what I quickly stated above. For the time being, the only tool I’m not using is the RSS reader, since it’s far from being competitive against NetNewsWire. But it’s not that bad.
What I miss: an extension to quickly see and upload my Picasa Web photos.
